Dr. Lindsay Calkins
Boler College of Business Professor and Administrator from 1986-2023
Dr. Lindsay Calkins was a respected Professor of Economics as indicated by her students who voted her Boler Favorite Teacher four times and nominated her for the William O'Hearn Award for Faculty Advising.听Her academic instruction contributions were also recognized by fellow faculty with the Wasmer Teaching Award.
Dr. Calkins was instrumental in alignment of the economics curriculum to the National Association for Business Economists requirements and helped to prepare students for the Certified Business Economist exam. As a result, her efforts to facilitate student success were recognized with the Dean's Award for Inspired Service.
Another of Dr. Calkin's many contributions to the Boler College of Business was her development of the Women in Business student organization and her on-going commitment to the group as a faculty advisor.
