About
This section of the Super PLANET will comprise 1 hour/units of legislative compliance and 1 hour/unit of governance under the PDI Act. Victoria Shute from Kelledy Jones Lawyers will take attendees through the development assessment process from ensuring correct governance structures are in place for relevant authorities, submission and verification of a development application through to representations, referrals determination, conditions, reserve matters, development approvals and certificates of occupancy – a legislative requirement that is highly relevant to planners and planning conditions under the PDI Act. The session will focus on emerging legal issues, case law and key trends in all aspects of development assessment as they relate to planning professionals. This session will be of great benefit to planning professionals working in local government and planning consultancies as well as accredited professional-planning at all levels under the Accredited Professionals Scheme.
