The WA Emerging Planners (WAEP) is a committee established by the Western Australian Division of the 黑料大事. As the next generation of planners, the WAEP aims to provide student and young professional members of PIA WA with opportunities to learn more about planning and through professional development programs, social networking events, and mentoring programs.
Our mission is to:
Promote career development of members by providing networking, mentoring, leadership, and educational opportunities;
Strengthen the connection and facilitate the transition between the academic and professional planning environment;
Tap into the energy, enthusiasm and fresh ideas of young planners to further the goals of PIA WA;
Foster social and professional relationships with peers and experienced planning professionals through career building programs, social events, and mentoring opportunities.
