ABOUT THE AWARDS
The Awards are an opportunity for planners to share achievements and celebrate the value planning brings to our communities. Participating in the Awards is also an important way planners can demonstrate commitment to advancing the profession.
For organisations involved in planning, the Awards are a chance to be publicly recognised for their achievements, and to showcase leading practice across a range of planning disciplines and sectors.
As a national program, the Awards commence at the state and territory level seeking out the best of planning in each jurisdiction. Following judgement and recognition at a state or territory Awards ceremony, the best from each state and territory are judged at a national level, culminating in the National Awards for ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ Excellence ceremony.
Promoting planning success stories through the Awards is a great way to demonstrate to the community why ‘ºÚÁÏ´óÊ Matters’.
The ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ would like to congratulate all nominees, Commendation and Award winners in the 2019 Awards for ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ Excellence program. We recognised projects, programs, research, initiatives, ideas and individuals who are delivering excellence in planning in South Australia.
The recipients of the awards were revealed at a ceremony held on Friday, 15 November, enjoyed by PIA members and supporters at the Hilton Adelaide.
We thank all those who attended and contributed to a successful evening, including our fantastic sponsors.
