An interactive design-based workshop to inform planning approaches to Climate Resilience
Limber up your strategic design brains to join architect/urban designer Caroline Stalker to workshop climate resilient design ideas for your community.
At the workshop, we’ll:
- Briefly revisit urban design approaches to sea level rise, wilder weather, heat island effect and flooding
- Discuss the specific risks and hazards facing your community/locale
- Workshop practical urban design approaches for adaptation and mitigation.
This workshop will help you build knowledge, understanding and capacity in urban design approaches to climate change adaptation and mitigation, as well as kick start your own thought processes in applying these approaches to your own communities of change.
Participants are asked to submit the name of their LGA or area of particular concern for workshopping at least 5 working days prior to the workshop.
