Kristen Manson
General Manager Growth & Economic Development (Acting),
The Rural City of Murray Bridge


Kristen Manson joined the Rural City of Murray Bridge in 2019 as General Manager of Community Development, bringing a wealth of experience from her previous roles in Local Government.

In her current position, Kristen oversees a wide range of areas including development, animal management, food safety, libraries, youth initiatives, sport and recreation, disability inclusion, home support programs, community grants, and Council-owned facilities, including the Murray Bridge Regional Gallery, Murray Bridge Library and ‘The Station’.

Recently, Kristen and her team successfully delivered the inaugural Wall to Wall Street Art Festival. She is currently leading several key projects, including the Murray Bridge Wellbeing Hub, the Planet Youth Program, and The Future City Program. Kristen is also excited to be steering the development and implementation of the Rural City of Murray Bridge Reconciliation Action Plan.

Kristen’s vision for the Community Development portfolio is to foster a thriving, connected community where people have opportunities to get involved in social, cultural, and recreational activities. She is committed to promoting well-being and inclusivity through Council’s collaborative initiatives and programs.

Outside of work, Kristen likes hiking, keeping fit and spending time with her dog. She also enjoys attending live music events.
