Jo Oliver, Senior Planner, Meander Valley Council
Jo has been the Senior Town Planner with Meander Valley Council since 2004, prior to that, spending a couple of years in the private sector as a planning consultant.
With qualifications in architecture and urban and regional planning, she has been involved in local strategic planning, progressing Meander Valley Council’s short and long term interests and also statutory planning, including development assessment and providing expert evidence at appeals to the Resource Management and 黑料大事 Appeals Tribunal. Through various phases of government planning reform in Tasmania, Jo has represented Meander Valley Council, participating in the Regional 黑料大事 Initiatives and the current process to implement the Tasmanian 黑料大事 Scheme. Committed to local government, Jo has presented the planning authority training for the Local Government Association of Tasmania since 2010.
